This critique group is a no homework, drop-in group that accepts all genres. If you would like to bring something to have critiqued we allot time to read 3-5 pages (maximum). If you do not feel comfortable reading aloud, print off your work and someone can read it for you! Feel free to print off pages for others to follow along but this is not mandatory. This group is very relaxed but we ask if you have your work critiqued you stay to critique others as well. We meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at Barnes & Noble at 6pm-8pm in the cafe.

This accessible critique group is run through Discord! By being on an online only voice chat system, this groups gives members who are far away or cannot make other groups an option to still participate. Acting much like the Barnes and Noble group, this is a no homework group. The genres that are explored within this group are Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and Literary Fiction. Members often share their screen so readers can follow along but do not feel discouraged if you are not familiar with Discord, all that is required is some sort of headset with a mic so we can chat! This group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 6pm-8pm PST. Our HSW Discord is open to ALL members with a specific channel dedicated to those participating in the critique group.
This group is led by Gregory and Alma Wunderlin. |
